| Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery |
Lawrenceton librarian Aurora Teagarden is the president of a real murders discussion club. As a favor to her mother, real estate agent Aida Teagarden, she is showing
the Anderson listing to one of Aida's new clients, Martin Bartell, an executive at a manufacturing company and a decorated ex-military. The showing is not quite what
Aurora or Martin anticipates when a dead body is discovered outside in the backyard of the house. Turns out it's Tanya Lee Greenhouse, a local rivalry realtor who had
shown the house the afternoon before. The death is being investigated as a homicide. When a second body is found in another house for sale, it becomes obvious that
there is a very cool killer loose, one who knows a lot about real estate and maybe too much about Aurora. The initial evidence points to the murderer being one of the
town's real estate agents, there only being three firms in town: ABT Realty, Aida's company; Greenhouse Realty, by Tanya Lee and her husband, Donnie Greenhouse;
and Sternholz Farrell, by Franklin Farrell who had once dated Aurora's best friend, newspaper reporter, Sally Allison. Beyond her curiosity in real murders, Aurora takes
an active interest in this case to protect her mother, who could have been the target. Aurora begins to believe that the murder could have been associated to a string
of unreported high end art thefts. But she can't help place Martin on the top of the suspect list, when she discovers more about his undisclosed past.
