In this hillarious tv show, we follow stand-up comedian and actress, Wanda Sykes stars as Wanda Hawkins, a struggling comedian living her best life in Washington DC. In this series pilot, Wanda accompanies Keith to a party where she ends up impressing his boss, who offers her an audition for an exiting on-air job. Wanda ultimately manages to land the aforementioned job as an on-air news reporter at a local news station. Later on, Wanda, through flashbacks, relates how she was hired and subsequently fired from her job when her liberal views clash with the conservative news anchors.
