Parenthood was an American family drama television series developed by Jason Katims and produced for NBC. The show chronicled the stories of the lives and tragedies
   of the
Braverman clan, consisting of an older couple, their four kids, and their families. It originally aired for six seasons, from March 2, 2010, to January 29, 2015, was
well received by television critics and earned several nominations and awards. The location is set in Berkeley, California, on the east shore of the San Francisco Bay. The
plot revolves around three generations of the Braverman family; The Patriarch Zeek Braverman and the matriarch Camille Braverman. After forty-six years of marriage
they somehow manage to keep their foundation intact by burying their problems underneath the surface for the sake of their now-adult children. Adam is the first-born
and married to Kristina. They have three children, Haddie, Max and Nora. Max is diagnosed with Asperger's. Adam runs a shoe company, but he later on becomes the
co-owner with his brother Crosby of a sound studio named 'The Luncheonette'. Sarah is the unstable daughter returning home with her rebellious teen daughter, Amber, and sensitive teen
son, Drew, to live with Zeek and Camille. She is divorced from musician Seth. Crosby is a happy-go-lucky bachelor and sound engineer, living in the now on a docked boat. His frivolous life changes when he marries Jasmine and has a son, Jabbar, and a daughter Aida. And lastly, there is Julia. She is the bread-winning lawyer, whose husband Joel is a stay-at-home-dad. They
have a daughter, Sydney. Each family will face their own challenges, but how they propose to deal with them is what will keep them together or tear them apart.
