Productions and CBS Productions. Set in Las Vegas, Nevada, the show involved a pair of defense attorneys who always went all out to help their clients, all the while
keeping their personal lives in order. The show is loosely based on real-life Vegas lawyers Michael Cristalli and Marc Saggese. The plot of the show depicted the lives
of two colorful and flashy Las Vegas defense attorneys who goes all-in when it comes to representing their wide varietyof clients. Pete and Nick are the local go-to
guys with an eclectic client list who are still looking to hit their own jackpot. Jim Belushi and Jerry O'Connell starred as Pete Kaczmarek, a freewheeling playboy lawyer, and Nick Morelli, Pete's partner, who was very passionate about his work and the clients he helped. Helping the dynamic defense duo was Lisa Tyler (Jurnee Smollett), a recent law school graduate and young lawyer who worked her way throught law school as a dancer, whose past as an adult entertainer sometimes kept her from being taken seriously. Meanwhile, the firm's quirky office assistant Zoe Waters (Tanya Fischer) managed to keep order. Outside the courtroom, Morelli struggled to cope with his relationship with his estranged wife, Jessica, while Kaczmarek took advatage of some of the pleasures the Strip had to offer.
